Our Story

It Started With a Farm.
Then We Saw a Bigger Opportunity.

Rebel Provisions grew out of our experience at Rebel Farm.

Running a local farm gave us a firsthand look at both sides of the local food system. We saw talented farmers and makers producing exceptional food—and we saw consumers who genuinely wanted to buy local and support the people producing food in their communities.

But we also saw the challenge of bringing those two groups together.

For small producers, reaching individual consumers takes time, infrastructure, marketing, order management, and delivery. For consumers, buying local can mean searching for different farms and makers, placing multiple orders, coordinating pickups, or visiting several locations.

We Started Asking a Simple Question
What if we could make
local easier for everyone?
That idea became Rebel Provisions.
Our Vision

One Market.
Many Local Producers.

Our goal is to create a central marketplace connecting local farms, ranches, bakers, cheesemakers, and independent food makers directly with the people who want to support them.

Instead of asking every small producer to build their own distribution system, Rebel Provisions brings their products together in one convenient place.

And instead of asking consumers to find and shop from multiple producers individually, we make it possible to discover great local food through one marketplace.

One place to discover.
One place to shop.
Many local producers to support.

Better for
Producers.

Rebel Provisions provides another path to market—helping local producers reach more customers while reducing some of the time and complexity involved in selling directly to individual households.

Easier for
Consumers.

Consumers gain convenient access to a broader selection of local food without sacrificing the connection to the people who grew, raised, baked, or made it.

All in One Local Marketplace

Local food shouldn't be
difficult to find.

Produce Cheese Bread Eggs Beef Poultry Honey Pantry Goods

Produce from one farm. Cheese from another. Bread from a neighborhood bakery. Eggs from a local ranch. Locally raised beef and poultry. Honey, pantry goods, and other provisions from independent makers—all brought together through one local marketplace.

When local food becomes easier to sell, easier to find, and easier to buy, everyone has a better opportunity to participate.

Keeping the Connection

The Producer Should
Never Disappear.

Convenience shouldn't come at the expense of connection.

Rebel Provisions isn't interested in creating another anonymous grocery marketplace where the people behind the products disappear.

Quite the opposite.

We want you to know the farm that grew your greens, the cheesemaker who made your cheese, the baker who made your bread, and the rancher who raised your food.

Their names, their businesses, and their stories are an important part of what you're buying.

Rebel Provisions provides the connection.
Our producers provide the food worth connecting over.
Where We Started

From Rebel Farm
to a Bigger Community.

Rebel Farm gave us our starting point, but Rebel Provisions is designed to be much bigger than one farm.

What began with our own experience growing and selling food locally has become a vision for connecting many independent producers with many more local households.

We're building that community one producer, one product, and one customer at a time.

Because when buying local becomes easier, more people can do it.

When more people buy local, independent producers have more opportunities to thrive.

And when local farms and makers thrive, our entire community becomes stronger.

Local Farms.
Real Food.
Stronger Communities.

That's the idea behind Rebel Provisions.
And we're just getting started.
